Ali Hashmi
Director TechnologyDeloitte ConsultingAli is Director Technology in Deloitte’s Consulting/Technology domain; he leads the artificial intelligence (AI) and advance analytics practice for the Middle East.
His expertise includes AI machine learning, big data, business intelligence, natural language processing (NLP) and corpus linguistics.
As a MIT alum, he has held research affiliate appointments with MIT Media Lab and Harvard Law School ILSP's SHARIAsource project.
In the past, he has worked as a software architect and development manager for Bell Canada for more than a decade, leading high-performance business intelligence and data integration teams in Toronto, Montreal, London (Ontario) and Bangalore.
He has been involved in start-ups in the education and marketing sector. He has also advised and consulted for international non-profit organizations.
